Text Messaging Terms & Consent
Mell Property Management uses SMS text messaging to keep our tenants, property owners, and vendors informed about their accounts and properties. This page explains who we text, what we send, and how consent is collected.
Who receives our text messages
We send text messages only to people we already have a business relationship with:
- Current tenants of properties we manage
- Property owners who have a management agreement with us
- Vendors who provide services to properties we manage
We do not send text messages to sales leads or prospects, and we do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
What we send
Text messages are account, maintenance, and service-related. Examples include maintenance and repair coordination, appointment and access scheduling, account and payment reminders, lease and document follow-ups, and vendor work-order communication.
How consent is collected
Tenants, owners, and vendors provide their mobile number and agree to receive text messages when they sign a lease agreement, property management agreement, or vendor agreement with Mell Property Management. The following consent language appears on those agreements:
